She was elected to the National Council as a representative of employers.

She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of University of Ljubljana in 1980. She was employed at the largest company in Slovenia – petroleum company Petrol, where she remained throughout her entire professional career with the exception of a short break of 4 years. For the last 15 years she has been a member of company’s management. Throughout her life she pursued further education both at home and abroad. In 1995, she completed her studies at the International Development Center Brdo in Slovenia with a President MBA, and in 2005 she completed her master’s studies at the IEDC Business School in Bled at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies of Management. She is currently in her second mandate as president of the management board of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she is currently serving her second mandate as a member of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia, where she represents interests of employers. In the previous assembly, she was the president of the Commission for Economy, Trade, Tourism and Finance, as well as a member of the Commission for Social Care, Labour, Health and Disabled.
