Education: Bachelor of Laws

He was born on May 5th 1954 in Celje.

He is the Secretary General of the Association of Employers in Craft Activities and Small Business of Slovenia (ZDOPS).

He graduated from University of Ljubljana – Faculty of Law, and began his professional path in public administration (statistics, defense). He continued his career in the sphere of public utilities in Ljubljana and later became the owner and director of a small consulting firm specializing in consulting small and middle-size companies, which he led for 17 years. During this time, he was also a manager of compulsory settlements and bankruptcies, senator of largest companies and an international expert for the European Commission, European Agency for Restructuring – Eurofund, World Bank, OSCE, and OHR-BIH (BIH, Kosovo, Serbia, Macedonia, Kazakhstan). As part of his activities he also engaged in active politics of employment, acceleration of self-employment and development of small commerce. For more than 20 years he has been teaching in various educational programs.

He is a member of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, a member of the Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work of the European Commission, a deputy member of EUROFOUND, a deputy member of the Advisory Committee for Migrant Workers, a recurrent participant of ILO conferences, a member of the assembly of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia, a deputy member of ESF, a deputy member of Statistical Council of the Republic of Slovenia, and a member of the National Network for Safety and Health at Work.
